Muzak Holdings obtains second exclusivity extension to file plan

New York, Oct. 27 - Muzak Holdings, LLC received a 90-day extension to its exclusive periods to file a plan of reorganization and to solicit votes on the plan, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company's exclusive plan-filing period will be extended to Dec. 7 and the solicitation period to Feb. 8.

Muzak, a Fort Mill, S.C.-based recorded music company, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 10, 2009 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10422.
