Musicland cancels public auction for 340 Sam Goody, Suncoast Video leases

New York, March 10 - Musicland Holding Corp. said it has canceled the public auction scheduled for March 14 to sell its interests in 340 of its Sam Goody and Suncoast Video leases, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Instead, the company will make available the results of bidding on March 15.

A hearing to confirm the results will still be held, as scheduled, on March 22.

Musicland, a Minnetonka, Minn., specialty retailer of pre-recorded entertainment software products, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 12. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10064.
