Multicanal APE to be considered by U.S. court on June 18

Pittsburgh, May 19 - Multicanal SA said a hearing has been scheduled for June 18 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York for consideration of the company's acuerdo preventivo extrajudicial (APE), according to a company news release.

Argentine cable television provider Multicanal filed for bankruptcy relief under section 304 on Jan. 16, 2004.
