MtGox trustee asks court to postpone status conference to Sept. 10

Pittsburgh, Aug. 6 – MtGox Co., Ltd.’s bankruptcy trustee asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas to continue a case status conference that had been scheduled for Aug. 6 to Sept. 10, according to a Wednesday court filing.

Trustee Nobuaki Kobayashi said the other parties to the status conference did not oppose the continuation.

No reason was given for the request.

MtGox is a Tokyo-based online bitcoin exchange operator. The company filed Chapter 15 bankruptcy on March 9 under case number 14-31229.
