MtGox announces July 23 creditors' meeting, proof of claim deadline

Pittsburgh, May 21 - MtGox Co., Ltd. announced key dates for its bankruptcy proceedings in a Wednesday release.

The company said a creditors' meeting will be held on July 23 for a report on the status of MtGox's assets.

Proofs of bankruptcy claims are due by Nov. 28, 2014. The investigation of claims will be completed by Feb. 25, 2015.

MtGox is a Tokyo-based online bitcoin exchange operator. The company filed Chapter 15 bankruptcy on March 9 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas under case number 14-31229.
