MSR Resort Golf Course unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, May 11 - MSR Resort Golf Course LLC's official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by Region 2 U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis, according to a May 11 filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The committee members are Mark Finney of Arizona Biltmore Hotel Villas Condominiums of Phoenix; Scott A. Rose, representing Kerry William Rose of Phoenix; Christian L. Rainer and Ezekiel D. Carder of Stationary Engineers Local 39 Pension Trust Fund, based in Alameda, Calif.; Shannon Piper of Gourmet Foods Hawaii of Honolulu; and Lisa Casavant of All Bright Cleaning Service, Inc. of Cathedral City, Calif.

MSR Resort owns and operates five resorts, including the Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa in Maui, Hawaii; the La Quinta Resort & Club and PGA West in La Quinta, Calif.; the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix; the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami and the Claremont Hotel Club & Spa in Berkeley, Calif.

The New York-based company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 1. The Chapter 11 case number is 11-10372.
