New Issue: RBC prices $2.23 million buffered enhanced return notes on MSCI EAFE

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 5 - Royal Bank of Canada priced $2.23 million of 0% buffered enhanced return notes due Feb. 17, 2015 linked to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.5 times any gain in the index, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,195 per $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 17.5% and will lose 1.2121% for each 1% decline beyond 17.5%.
