New Issue: RBC prices $12.68 million leveraged notes on MSCI EAFE via Goldman

Chicago, May 6 - Royal Bank of Canada priced $12.68 million of 0% leveraged equity index-linked notes due Dec. 11, 2012 tied to the MSCI EAFE index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any index gain, up to a maximum settlement amount of $1,260.10 per $1,000 principal amount.
Investors will be exposed to any losses.
