MPC Computers' unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Nov. 24 - MPC Computers LLC's official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Friday by acting Region 3 U.S. Trustee Roberta A. DeAngelis, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee is comprised of Terry Zale of Flextronics Computing Mauritius Ltd., Broomfield, Colo.; Tim Li of Quanta Computer Inc., Tao Yuan Shien, Taiwan; Ronald G. Byers of Document Storage Systems, Inc., Independence, Mo.; Lawrence Metz of Technology Insurance Co., New York; Connie Marks of EMC Corp., Hopkinton, Mass.; Roger Cassi of United Parcel Service, Atlanta; and Mark Hojreh of H. Co Computer Products, Irvine, Calif.

MPC, a major U.S. PC vendor since 1991, provides enterprise IT hardware services to mid-size businesses, government agencies and education organizations. The company filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 6. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-12667.
