Movie Gallery granted court approval to hold store closing sales

Pittsburgh, Feb. 4 - Movie Gallery, Inc. received court approval to hold store closing sales at 760 Movie Gallery, Hollywood Video and Game Crazy stores in the United States, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The company has hired Gordon Brothers Retail Partners, LLC to help with the sales.

Movie Gallery, a Wilsonville, Ore.-based video and game rental company, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 2. Its Chapter 11 case number is 10-30696.
