Movida Communications changes name following asset sale

Pittsburgh, May 2 - Movida Communication, Inc. requested court approval to change the official name used for its Chapter 11 bankruptcy case to KCMVNO, Inc., according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Movida said its name was changed to KCMVNO following the sale of some of its assets to Cozac, LLC.

A hearing is scheduled for May 21.

Movida, a Kansas City, Mo.-based mobile virtual network operator that provides wireless services to Hispanic communities, filed for bankruptcy on March 31. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-10600.
