Morris Publishing explores strategic options

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 28 - Morris Publishing Group LLC is evaluating strategic options for its capital structure, according to a company news release.

The company has retained Lazard Freres & Co. LLC as financial adviser and Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg, LLP as legal counsel.

Morris Publishing owns and operates newspapers, city magazines and free community publications. The company is an affiliate of Morris Communications Co., LLC, a privately held media company based in Augusta, Ga.
