Morgan Stanley promotes Steven Kreider to portfolio manager of high-yield fund

Knoxville, Tenn., May 21 - Morgan Stanley Investment Management announced it has named Steven Kreider portfolio manager for the Morgan Stanley High Yield Fund, Inc.
The fund is managed by Morgan Stanley's taxable fixed-income team.
Kreider, the team's managing director, will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day management and the execution of the overall strategy of the fund's portfolio.
Kreider has been an investment manager at Morgan Stanley since 1988 and began managing the fund in June 2007.
The Taxable Fixed Income Team of Van Kampen Asset Management also announced that Kreider has been named portfolio manager of the Van Kampen High Income Trust II.
Van Kampen Asset Management, the Funds' investment adviser, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Van Kampen Investments Inc.
Based in New York, Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm providing investment banking, securities, investment management, wealth management and credit services.
