Warren Buffet affiliate sells close to 8 million shares of Moody's

Charlotte, N.C., July 22 - Moody's Corp. investor National Indemnity Co. sold 7,986,300 shares of the company's stock on July 20 through July 22 priced from $26.64 to $28.73 each, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.

National Indemnity is controlled by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc.

Buffet beneficially owns 40,013,700 shares, or 16.98%, of the New York credit rating company's outstanding shares.
