Moody's rates Monitronics facility Ba3, notes Caa1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned B2 corporate family and probability of default ratings and an SGL-3 speculative grade liquidity rating to Monitronics International, Inc.

Concurrently, Moody's assigned a Ba3 rating to a new $650 million senior secured credit facility and a Caa1 rating to $460 million in new senior unsecured notes.

The outlook is stable.

Moody's said it expects proceeds from the new debt along with cash on the balance sheet to be used to refinance existing debt and pay fees and expenses.
