Moody's rates Monitronics loan Ba3

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba3 rating to the $145 million incremental first-lien term loan offered by Monitronics International, Inc.

No other ratings were affected, including Monitronics' B2 corporate family rating and SGL-3 speculative grade liquidity rating.

The outlook remains stable.

Proceeds from the add-on term loan will be used to permanently finance Monitronics' $131 million purchase of 93,000 subscriber accounts from Pinnacle Security and to repay revolver borrowings made to purchase other dealer contracts.
