Moneygram redeems $175 million of 13¼% senior secured notes due 2018

Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 23 - MoneyGram International, Inc. said it redeemed $175 million principal amount of its 13¼% senior secured second lien notes due 2018.

The notes were redeemed at 113.25, according to a news release.

The company said it funded the redemption with cash and $150 million in borrowings under its new incremental credit facility.

Affiliates of Goldman, Sachs & Co. held the notes.

MoneyGram is a Dallas-based payment services company.
