Monaco Coach Chapter 11 bankruptcy case converted to Chapter 7

Portland, Ore., June 29 - Monaco Coach Corp's Chapter 11 bankruptcy case was converted to Chapter 7 by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, according to a Friday filing.

The case conversion is effective June 30.

Monaco Coach requested that the case be converted after its authorization to use cash collateral expired on June 4. The company said it had no source of free cash to satisfy administrative expenses that would continue to accrue if it remained in Chapter 11.

Monaco Coach, a Coburg, Ore.-based designer, manufacturer and seller of motor coaches and towable recreational vehicles, filed for bankruptcy on March 5. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10750.
