By Susanna Moon

Chicago, April 12 - Mohawk Industries, Inc. said investors tendered $301,012,000 of its 6½% senior notes due 2011 in the cash tender offer to purchase up to $200 million of the notes.

The tender offer expired at 11:59 p.m. ET on April 9. It began on March 15.

Mohawk accepted about 66.5% of the notes on a pro rata basis because the amount of notes tendered exceeded the cap.

Holders who tendered their notes after March 26 but prior to the expiration date received par.

The company said it would pay interest in cash up to but excluding April 12, the settlement date.
