Moelis adds Jared Dermont to recapitalization and restructuring group

Knoxville, Tenn., April 27 - Moelis & Co. announced that Jared Dermont will join the firm in May as a managing director in its recapitalization and restructuring group.

Dermont, who will be based in New York, has more than 13 years of experience in mergers, acquisitions and restructuring, according to a Moelis press release.

He most recently was a managing director at Rothschild, where he originated and executed in-court and out-of-court restructuring and M&A transactions for companies, creditors and regulators.

Prior to Rothschild, Dermont was a vice president in the health-care mergers and acquisitions group at Banc of America Securities. He began his career at Peter J. Solomon Co.

Moelis is an investment bank based in New York.
