Shamrock sells $8.12 million worth of Modine Manufacturing shares

Charlotte, N.C., June 9 - Modine Manufacturing Co. investors led by Shamrock Activist Value Fund sold a total of 480,000 shares of the company's stock for $8.12 million between May 6 and June 6, it was reported in a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own 1,612,900 shares, or about 5%, of the Racine, Wis., thermal products manufacturing company's outstanding stock.

In February, Shamrock sought to adopt a majority voting standard for the election of the company's directors.
