Mobile Satellite Ventures starts roadshow for $300 million seven-year notes

St. Louis, March 14 - Mobile Satellite Ventures began a roadshow Tuesday for its $300 million offering of seven-year senior secured discount notes, according to a market source.

The offering is expected to price during the March 20 week.

Merrill Lynch & Co. and Morgan Stanley are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A notes. Jefferies & Co. is the co-manager.

The notes come with four years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, working capital and construction of the company's next generation of integrated networks.

Mobile Satellite Ventures is a provider of mobile satellite communications. The company has offices in Reston, Va., and Ottawa, Ont.
