Chicago, Aug. 22 – Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. priced €750 million of 4.608% green notes with a seven-year tenor (A1//A-) on Tuesday, according to a market source.
The bonds priced at par, or at mid-swaps plus 135 basis points.
Mizuho, HSBC, ING, Lloyds and Societe Generale were listed as joint bookrunners.
Proceeds will ultimately be used for eligible green projects.
The notes will be listed in Luxembourg.
Books went above €2.2 billion.
The bank holding company is based in Tokyo.
