MIV Therapeutics raises $4.14 million in private placement

New York, Aug. 22 - MIV Therapeutics, Inc. said it has completed a non-brokered private placement for $4.14 million.

The full terms of the offering could not be determined by press time Monday.

Proceeds will be used to accelerate the company's research and development program.

Based in Vancouver, B.C., MIV develops biocompatible stent coatings and drug delivery systems. The company's stock closed up $0.09 at $0.955 on Monday.
