Appleton Papers completes loan amendment to allows for note exchange

New York, Sept. 25 - Appleton Papers Inc. received approvals from a sufficient number of its banks to successfully amend its credit facility to allow for the exchange of notes, according to a news release.

The company is offering to exchange new 11.25% second-lien notes due 2015 for its existing 8.125% senior notes due 2011 and 9.75% senior subordinated notes due 2014.

The exchange offers were scheduled to expire on Friday.

Appleton is an Appleton, Wis.-based paper manufacturing company.
