Appleton buys back $19.1 million notes during fourth quarter

New York, March 10 - Appleton bought back a total of $19.1 million of notes during the fourth quarter.

The Appleton, Wis.-based paper and packaging company repurchased $12.1 million plus interest of its 8 1/8% senior notes due 2011 and the remaining $7 million plus interest of its 12½% senior subordinated notes due Dec. 15, 2008.
