Apple to sell notes due in 2022, 2024, 2026, 2029 and 2049

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 4 – Apple Inc. intends to offer notes (Aa1) in five fixed-rate tranches due in 2022, 2024, 2026, 2029 and 2049, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The 2022 notes have a make-whole call. The remaining tranches will have make-whole calls and par calls.
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, BofA Securities, Inc. and Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. are the bookrunners.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including stock repurchases and dividend payments, working capital, capital expenditures, acquisitions and debt repayment.
The computer, mobile communication and media devices company is based in Cupertino, Calif.
