Apple to sell fixed-rate notes due 2019, 2020, 2023, 2025, 2027, 2047

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 6 – Apple Inc. intends to offer fixed-rate notes in six tranches, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are due in 2019, 2020, 2023, 2025, 2027 and 2047.

The 2019 and 2020 notes have a make-whole call. The remaining portions will have make-whole calls and par calls.

Goldman Sachs & Co., BofA Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC are the bookrunners.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including stock repurchases and dividend payments, working capital, capital expenditures, acquisitions and debt repayment.

The computer, mobile communication and media devices company is based in Cupertino, Calif.
