Kinnevik buys Millicom convertibles

New York, Dec. 15 - Industriforvaltnings AB Kinnevik said it has bought 10.863 million of Millicom International Cellular SA's 2% senior convertible PIK notes for $68.01 million.

Kinnevik, a Stockholm-based investment holding company, now owns 13.205 million of the convertibles, which would convert into 1.228 million Millicom shares.
