Midway Games receives third plan-filing extension through Oct. 30

New York, Oct. 20 - Midway Games, Inc. received an extension to its exclusive periods to file a plan of reorganization and solicit votes on the plan, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company's exclusive plan-filing period will be extended to Oct. 30 from Sept. 29 and the solicitation period to Dec. 30 from Nov. 30.

Midway Games, based in Chicago, is a developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software for videogame systems and personal computers. The company filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 12, 2009, and its Chapter 11 case number is 09-10465.
