Micron Technology mulls $1 billion secured notes offering

Portland, Ore., April 8 – Micron Technology, Inc. may issue $1 billion of senior secured notes and attempt to syndicate a $500 million term loan B, according to an 8-K document filed on Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Deal timing and syndicate names were not immediately available, market sources said.

The Boise, Idaho-based semiconductor manufacturer plans to use to the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including working capital and capital expenditures.
