Fitch affirms Apollo

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed the ratings of Apollo Investment Corp. as follows: long-term issuer default rating at BBB and senior secured debt at BBB.

The outlook is stable.

Fitch noted that the ratings affirmation reflects Apollo's low leverage, demonstrated access to the equity markets, relatively consistent operating performance in a difficult market environment, moderate portfolio investment concentrations, experienced management team and the company's access to deal flow and investment resources from asset manager, Apollo Global Management, LLC.
