Moody’s raises MGIC Investment
Moody’s Investors Service said it raised MGIC Investment Corp.’s senior unsecured debt rating to Ba1 from Ba2, and the junior subordinated debt rating to Ba2 (hyb) from Ba3 (hyb).
S&P cited lower financial leverage, a good debt maturity profile and improved profitability.
The outlook is stable.
