Bank of America buys $8 million in claims against MF Global Holdings

Pittsburgh, May 8 - Bank of America, NA bought $8 million of Blackrock Financial Management, Inc.'s claims against MF Global Holdings Ltd., according to Monday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, Bank of America bought two $4 million claims from Blackrock.

MF Global Holdings, a New York-based commodity and derivatives broker, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 31, 2011. Its Chapter 11 case number is 11-15059.
