Minneapolis, Nov. 8 - Metropolitan Series Fund, Inc. announced the addition of Bob Miller as a portfolio manager to the BlackRock bond income portfolio and the BlackRock diversified portfolio.

Miller joins co-portfolio managers Rick Rieder, Matthew Marra and Eric Pellicciaro, who have managed the fixed income portion of the diversified portfolio since 2010, 2005 and 2010, respectively.

Robert C. Doll Jr., Daniel Hanson and Peter Stournaras lead the equity portion of the portfolio. They are jointly and primarily responsible for the day-to-day management of the equity portion of the portfolio and have been since 2006, 2009 and 2010, respectively.

Philip J. Green is responsible for the asset allocation of the portfolio. He has been a manager of the portfolio since 2009.

As of Sept. 30, Miller managed no other accounts for BlackRock Advisors, LLC or any of its affiliates, including registered investment companies and other pooled investment vehicles. Additionally, Miller beneficially owned no equity securities of any portfolio for which he served as portfolio manager.

The fund, based in Boston, is an open-ended balanced variable annuity mutual fund.
