Metromedia Steakhouses unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Nov. 7 - Metromedia Steakhouses Co., LP's official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Friday by the acting Region 3 U.S. Trustee, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee members include Stephen Zaremba of Renzi Bros., Inc., Watertown, N.Y.; William J. Doughty of William J. Doughty Maintenance, Butler, Pa.; Telestar Direct, LLC, Cincinnati; Peter N. Gountanis of Gountanis Enterprises, Waukegan, Ill.; Stewart Campbell and Lisa Wells of TLP, Inc., Dallas; Thomas B. Kenney of Tom's General Repair Service, Homer City, Pa.; and Jennifer Yobe Smith of MacDonald Media LLC, New York.

Metromedia is a steakhouse company based in Plano, Texas, that operates restaurants under the names Ponderosa Steakhouse and Bonanza Steakhouse. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 22. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-12490.
