Metromedia International does not declare dividend

New York, June 5 - Metromedia International Group, Inc. said it has decided not to declare the dividend for the quarter ending June 15 on its 7¼% cumulative convertible preferred stock.

The New York communications and media company said it took the step to "facilitate any potential future restructuring."
