Pittsburgh, June 18 - Metaldyne Corp.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was re-appointed Thursday by U.S. Trustee Diana G. Adams to remove one and add three new members, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Edward Crawford of General Aluminum is no longer on the committee. The new committee members are Gene Schiavone of Microflex, Inc. of Ormond Beach, Fla.; Michael A. Smith of Law Debenture Trust Co. of New York; and Thomas M. Dugan of Shiloh Industries, based in Valley City, Ohio.

The rest of the committee is comprised of Lou Lavorata of Citation Corp., based in Novi, Mich.; Rex Thrasher of SKF USA, Inc. of Kulpsville, Pa.; Niraj R. Ganatra of International Union, UAW, based in Detroit; and Diane D'Amour of QMP-America Division of High Purity Iron, Inc. of Sorel-Tracy, Quebec.

Metaldyne, a Plymouth, Mich.-based maker of metal-based components, assemblies and modules for transportation-related powertrain and chassis applications, filed for bankruptcy on May 27. The Chapter 11 case number is 09-13412.
