Mesaba creditors committee names Davidson, Carr to liquidating trust oversight committee

Pittsburgh, March 27 - Mesaba Aviation, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors appointed Hamish Davidson and Michael Carr to oversee the liquidating trust under the company's plan of reorganization, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Minnesota.

Davidson is a representative of BAE Systems, Herndon, Va., and Carr is a representative of AAR Corp., Wood Dale, Ill.

Their service on the oversight committee will begin on the effective date of Mesaba's plan of reorganization.

Mesaba, an Eagan, Minn.-based Northwest Airlines affiliate, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 13, 2005. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-39258.
