Mesa Air Group posts $890,000 October operating loss; revenues down

Pittsburgh, Nov. 24 - Mesa Air Group, Inc. reported an $890,000 operating loss for October on $57.41 million in total revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
The figures showed a decline from the $8.58 million of operating income posted for September on $61.19 million in total revenues.
The net loss for October was $10.4 million, narrowing from an $82.02 million September net loss.
Mesa had $60.48 million in cash and cash equivalents at Oct. 31, up from $57.73 million at the end of September.
Mesa Air, a Phoenix-based provider of passenger and airfreight services, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 5, 2010. The Chapter 11 case number is 10-10018.
