New Issue: Merrill Lynch prices $1.6 million 0% return enhanced notes linked to Nikkei 225 via JPMorgan

New York, April 25 - Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. priced a $1.6 million issue of 0% return enhanced notes due April 30, 2008 linked to the Nikkei 225 index via J.P. Morgan Securities Inc., according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus triple any positive return on the index up to a maximum return of 29.7%. Investors will share in any losses.
