Medtronic files automatic shelf registration for secondary offerings

Des Moines, Aug. 7 - Medtronic, Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers secondary offerings by selling investors of common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants. The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Minneapolis-based Medtronic develops medical devices for cardiac rhythm disease management; spinal and navigation; neurological; vascular; diabetes; cardiac surgery; and ear, nose and throat.
