MediCor withdraws asset sale motion

Pittsburgh, Nov. 13 - MediCor Ltd. has withdrawn its request to sell substantially all of its assets, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

As previously reported, the company obtained court approval of the bid procedures in August. The assets to be sold included foreign operating subsidiaries Eurosilicone SAS and Nagor Ltd., as well as Medicor's Biosil business.

MediCor, a North Las Vegas, Nev., health care company that makes and sells products for the aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery and dermatology markets, filed for bankruptcy on June 29. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-10877.
