Moody’s revises Mediacom to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it changed Mediacom Communications Corp.’s outlook to positive from stable following sustained improvement in the company's operating performance and credit metrics.

The change in the outlook reflects the company's aggressive de-leveraging as a result of EBITDA growth chiefly from strength in the high speed data product and use of the majority of its free cash flow for voluntary debt reduction, the agency said.

Moody's also affirmed Mediacom's Ba3 corporate family rating, Ba3-PD probability of default rating, Ba2 senior secured rating and B2 senior unsecured rating.
