Atlanta, Feb. 11 - MedcomSoft Inc. said it wrapped a private placement of units for C$3,596,356.
The company sold 7,192,712 units at C$0.50 each. The units include one share and one quarter-share warrant.
The whole warrants allow for an additional share at C$0.65 each for two years.
The company sold an additional 1,192,712 units from its originally announced 6 million unit offering.
After the closing of an additional rights offering Thursday, the company received a total of $6,407,796 in private placements.
Separately, the company sold 892,712 units to its chairman and chief executive officer Sami Aita in a private placement Thursday.
The placement agent in the deal was Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon Ltd.
Based in Toronto, MedcomSoft designs, develops and markets software for the healthcare industry. The proceeds will be used to reduce liabilities and fund additional marketing and sales expenses. The remainder will be used for working capital.
