MedAssets to redeem its $325 million 8% senior notes due 2018

Chicago, Jan. 27 – MedAssets, Inc. gave notice that it will redeem all $325 million of its 8% existing senior notes due 2018, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Wednesday.

The outstanding notes will be called on Feb. 26 at 102 plus accrued interest up to but excluding the redemption date.

Wells Fargo Bank, NA is the trustee on the deal.

The redemption follows completion of the acquisition of MedAssets by Pamplona Capital Management, LLP on Jan. 27.

MedAssets is an Alpharetta, Ga.-based healthcare performance improvement company.
