Fitch assigns ANZ Bank bonds AAA

Fitch Ratings said it assigned ANZ Bank New Zealand Ltd.'s €500 million of series 2023-1mortgage covered bonds an AAA rating. The fixed-rate bond is due in July 2026 and benefits from a 12-month extendable maturity.

The agency affirmed the AAA rating on Feb. 22.

ANZ New Zealand (International) Ltd., a guaranteed issuing vehicle the bank uses for international funding issued the bonds.

The outlook is stable.
