New Issue: ANZ unit prices $2 billion 6.2% five-year notes at Treasuries plus 312.5 bps

Omaha, July 9 - ANZ National International Ltd. priced $2 billion 6.2% five-year senior notes Wednesday to yield Treasuries plus 312.5 basis points, an informed source said.

The Rule 144A notes (Aa2/AA/) priced at 99.906 to yield 6.222%.

Bookrunners were Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and Citigroup Global Markets.

The subsidiary of Australia New Zealand Banking Group Ltd. is based in Melbourne, Australia.
