Masco files automatic shelf registration for stock, preferreds, debt

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 24 - Masco Corp. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, depositary shares, purchase contracts, units, warrants and debt securities.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The Taylor, Mich., company manufactures and installs home improvement and building products.
