Fitch rates Johns Hopkins Health, Md., notes F1+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a rating of F1+ to the Maryland Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority commercial paper revenue notes, the Johns Hopkins Health System issue, consisting of $84.1 million series E and $84.55 million series F.

The rating on the two series of notes is based on the support of two separate letters of credit provided by Bank of America, NA. Each LoC provides coverage for principal and an interest component equal to 34 days, calculated at the maximum rate of 12% based on a year of 365 days.

The proceeds of the notes will be used to refund the authority's revenue bonds, the Johns Hopkins Health System Obligated Group issue, series 2007A and 2007B.
